UAE Expands Visa-on-Arrival for Indian Nationals
The United Arab Emirates has further extended its visa-on-arrival programme for Indian nationals, now including those with valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from six additional countries.
Expanded Eligibility for Indian Nationals
Effective from 13th February 2025, Indian citizens holding ordinary passports and valid visas, residence permits, or Green Cards from Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada will now be eligible for a visa on arrival at all UAE entry points. These additions complement the previously recognized eligibility for individuals with valid documentation from the United States, European Union, and United Kingdom.
The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security made this announcement, reinforcing the strong diplomatic and economic ties between the UAE and India.

This strategic initiative aims to facilitate seamless travel, boost tourism, and attract highly skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and investors to the UAE. By expanding eligibility, the UAE continues to strengthen its position as a global business and tourism hub.
Visa Requirements & Regulations
To avail of the visa-on-arrival facility, Indian nationals must ensure their passports have a minimum validity of six months and adhere to the prescribed visa fees and regulations as per UAE immigration policies.
