Dubai’s Al Meydan Street Upgrade to Cut Travel Time by 66% 🚧

The project will deliver: • 3.7 km of bridges • 17 km of roads • New cycling connections • 18% increase in north-south traffic capacity • Travel time reduced from 30 minutes to just 10 minutes

Serving areas with a combined population of more than 500,000 residents, the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2028.

Better connectivity and shorter commute times can further enhance accessibility and long-term development potential across Dubai’s growing communities. At Unique Zone Real Estate, we believe infrastructure remains a key factor in shaping Dubai’s real estate landscape.

Dubai Property Sale Terminated Over Unpaid Instalments A recent ruling by Dubai’s Real Estate Court highlights the importance of meeting payment commitments in property transactions.

The court terminated the sale of a AED 1.03 million residential unit after the buyer failed to pay the agreed instalments. Despite having taken possession, the buyer had outstanding dues of AED 527,000. The court ordered the buyer to vacate and hand over the property, while also paying a use allowance of AED 78,000 per year from July 2023 until actual handover.

Interestingly, the court rejected the seller’s request to retain 40% of the contract value as compensation. The takeaway: Property transactions come with contractual and financial responsibilities for both buyers and sellers. Understanding the terms of an agreement before signing is essential.

At Unique Zone Real Estate, we believe staying informed is an important part of making confident property decisions in Dubai.
